How our carton closer machines work

Imball automatic closing machines are continuous motion high-speed automatic closers for various styles of boxes. All models have a controlled carton transport system to handle a wide range of carton sizes and styles.

Our complete options of carton and case closers apply the latest technology to provide unique features for every need, such as automatic format change with PLC (PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLER) adjustments, weigh checker with discharge, laser coder or inkjet printer, elevator for storage belts, controlled 90° carton turn without a change in direction, open box detection, and much more.

Depending on the configuration, the speed can go up to 150 cartons per minute, with a precise flap placement during sealing and configurable right or left product discharge.
